Information Regarding Junior High School Applications

During parent engagement on September 25th, our Guidance Counselor, Ms. Robles informed the 5th grade parents about the upcoming new process that must be followed when filing the Junior High School Applications. The DOE will be sending every parent a letter in October with their child’s OSIS Number and a Pin number where they can go to the MYPARENT portal and complete their child’s Junior High School application on their own. You will have up to 12 choices however you do not necessarily have to choose 12 schools. Your #1 choice must be the school you want your child to attend. Please understand that you may not get your 1st choice that is why it is important that you make more than one choice. Some students may be matched to two schools however, the parent can can only choose one. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to come to the school and speak to Ms. Robles.
